The Yemeni group has said it targeted an American military cargo ship in the Gulf of Aden with naval missiles, Al Jazeera reported.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that retaliation against American and British attacks is inevitable, and any new aggression will not go unpunished,” the Houthis said in a statement.

Despite US-led military raids against Houthi positions in Yemen, the group has continued its attacks on shipping lanes in the Red Sea, vowing to target Israel-linked ships until the war on Gaza ends.
